Dear Friends and Fellow Rascals,
I have some news about my upcoming tour in Europe. I sadly have to cancel some shows and reshuffle a few others. While there is no volcano clouding up the skies this time, I'm having a metaphoric ash cloud of my own at the moment, and would like to explain my reasons in hope that you may understand.
The next few months are going to be very hectic, between music, motherhood and my fashion commitments, so sometimes the balance gets uneven. The schedule for my tour and the months beyond were beginning to conflict with the time I spend with my children, and in order to juggle everything and stay sane I had to reshuffle these dates. The dates below are the new tour dates. I'm very sorry to the folks who have already purchased tickets and for the inconvenience caused, but I can't wait to come back to Europe and play for my fans there. I want to thank you for your support and for enjoying these songs that haunt me.

Möglicherweise kommt sich heute der kleine Junge, der damals seine Klassenkameradin Karen Elson als ›wandelndes Gespenst‹ bezeichnete, recht blöd vor. Damit lieferte er jetzt, Jahre später,  die Vorlage für den Titel des Debüt Albums
›The Ghost Who Walks‹ und muss sich nun wohl unweigerlich selbst eingestehen, das dies doch ein zweifelhafter Begriff für eines der heute weltweit erfolgreichsten Supermodels war. ›Le Freak‹, wie Karen Elson in Modekreisen genannt wird, entdeckt nun auch für sich die schönste Art sich seiner selbst auszudrücken. Mit der Unterstützung ihres Ehemannes, Jack White (The White Stripes), gelang ihr ein lautmalerisches Album vollgepackt mit Emotionen und Nachdenklichkeit.
Dies ist allerdings kein Werkzeug um sich zurück ins Rampenlicht zu befördern. Die Dame war in ihrem Leben ja nie wirklich außerhalb des Spotlights zu finden. Was treibt das schöne Model, in dem für sie typisch zerknitterten Kleid, also an? Sie selbst. Sie muss es nicht machen aber sie will und sie kann! Das wird sie auf ihrer Tour zweifelsohne unter Beweis stellen.
